A Small Collection by Alyson Fox

So we're thinking illustrators should go into fashion design more often. First there was Lovisa Burfitt. Now we have Alyson Fox and her brand new line named A Small Collection.

Maybe you know Fox from her artwork, shown at ReForm School among other places. But Fox's latest project is a collection of dresses and separates presented as only an artist could, via a website with nonchalant videos featuring cute non-model types wearing the clothing in a cozy cottage. Indeed the approach perfectly reflects the feel of the clothing, a sort of comfortable, casual stylishness that we think of as the American version of the efortless chic thing French women do so well.
