Speaking of Swedish denim labels that are expanding their lines, this season has brought a surge of non-denim clothing and leather accessories from Acne Jeans. Acne has taken a rather different approach than Julian Red to expanding its line. Instead of trying to get super creative and arty the line consists of basics with a twist. Of course, when you do such a line the key is the twist--your take on the T-shirt or the mini-dress or the pump must distinguish itself but can't look like you're trying too hard. Acne, we think, pretty much got it spot on.
(By the way, these pictures are drawn from a ton of different shops but Matthew Izzo in Philadelphia and online has the largest collection of Acne we've seen anywhere.)

i wasn't aware that they had a collection beyond their denim until a couple days ago while at opening ceremony. they have nice stuff but their price points seem a bit high...

It's definitely pricey. I haven't actually seen them in person yet...How was the quality?

Hi guys!
Our online shop is the only one carrying the full Spring/Summer collection. Make sure you stop by before things sell out. We just opened to the North American market.
