Barking Irons was founded in 2003 in New York City by Daniel and Michael Casarella. The brand took as its inspiration American and New York folklore, from Wild West tales to stories of the origins of neighborhoods and burroughs. Each story became the subject of a T-shirt, featuring old imagery and antiquated typesets.
