Base is on the top of our visit list for Miami, but thanks to a reader suggestion we don't need to wait to add it to the guide. Base is a shop in the Collete vein, using its generously proportioned domicile to highlight every thing from $10 CDs to $1000 art books, edgy high-end jewelry to quirky home design items.

Clothing is mostly sold in-store only, but their online shop boasts a formidable selection of jewelry and accessories.
