Elizabeth Charles Online

We recently noticed that Elizabeth Charles, which has been in our guide now for a while, has online shopping.

If you're not familiar with Elizabeth Charles, it is a pioneering boutique in New York that has made it its mission to introduce shoppers to the work of Australian (and even New Zealandian) designers. Probably the most well known (at least in the US) Australian designer is Karen Walker, whose work is carried boutiques from LA to New York and has found its way into many a magazine. Of course the shop carries a good bit of Walker but also has many other Australian designers that you probably haven't heard of before. Names like Alice McCall, Anna Thomas, Camilla & Marc, and Kirrily Johnston.

We particularly liked Kirrily Johnston's collection.
