We aren't exactly the biggest fans of Fred Perry, sort of grouping it in with the crop of marketing based sportswear brand revivals that have been making the rounds these last couple of years. But then we found out that the brand does occasional collaborations with other designers that reinterpret the sporty look in different ways.
Recently we saw several pieces Fred Perry did with edgy British designer Jessica Ogden at Creatures of Comfort (which somehow we missed when we covered them a few weeks back). These pieces are quite something, sportswear taken back to the '50s and given a fresh feminine touch.
Future collaborations are planned with Judy Blame and Alistair McKimm. We'll be looking out for new Fred Perry collaboration pieces as they come out.
