Last week we had the pleasure of attending the first ever Capsule, a new tradeshow put together by BPMW featuring an intriguing, inspiring mix of high-end casual labels.
We were excited to finally see the complete collections of several labels we've been following for a while--labels like Wood Wood, Henrik Vibskov and Julian Red. But it was even more exciting to pick up on some new names. Here are three that stuck out for us.
Colab is an Australian eyewear label, creating a line of sunglasses in collaboration with various artists and designers. This season they worked with one of our favorite Australian designers, Perks and Mini.
LA's Endovanera presented a grayscale collection of men's clothing that emphasizes fits and textures. An understated, detailed oriented collection from a city that's anything but.
And then there's San Francisco's B.Son. The line of slouchy T-shirts, hoodies and cardigans, is the laid-back Bay Area version of hip men's clothing. It was available at Blackbird last season and we're guessing we'll see it in even more stores this fall and next year.
These were just a few of the interesting, up and coming labels on display and we imagine we'll be talking about many of the others as they start making their way into our favorite boutiques.
