Peter Jensen
One of our favorite collections of the season has to be Peter Jensen's. A Dane who moved to London to attend St. Martins, Jensen's clothes mix the bold graphics and prints that Scandinavian designers are well known for with some down right proper British tailoring.
For the Spring 2007 collection, Jensen's inspiration was the work of photographer Tina Barney, who throughout the '80s cataloged the lives of friends and family (many of whom belong to New York's social elite).
Jensen took this perfect preppy inspiration and added subtle (and not sometimes so subtle) elements of subversion.
