Phillip Lim Men's Fall 2007
When we first heard Phillip Lim planned to do a menswear collection we were skeptical. We were of the opinion that Lim would try to take the detail heavy sensibility that brought him such success in womenswear to men's and that it would all look way over done. It appears we were wrong. While the menswear collection apparently debuted for S/S 2007, Fall 2007 is the first we're seeing it any of the stores we follow. Aloha Rag was the first to bring in a decent variety of pieces from the collection. The pictures pretty much speak for themselves. Not a revelation in menswear but a good start nonetheless. Not so sure about some of the prices though.
