Potipoti

By Ara Anjargolian | 09 October 2008, 8:24 AM

Potipoti is Silvia Salvador and Nando Cornejo, two fine arts students who met at school in Northern Spain. After stints as art directors at different studios in Madrid, they moved to Berlin in 2001. They started Potpoti in 2005 as a studio/label doing graphics/visual arts work for other companies while producing a line under its own name.

Naturally, Potipoti is a graphics driven line. But each season, while introducing a dynamic set of new prints and graphics, has brought further refinement in the clothing itself. True to the label's roots, their line is produced by small textile companies in Spain and Portugal.

Their Fall 2008 collection was inspired by the polichromated wood of Native American totems and vintage toys.
