Prostor, Chic Office, The Archive

By Ara Anjargolian | 05 February 2007, 7:46 PM

Every so often we like to highlight a few stores that are suggested to us that we wouldn't have been able to add to the guide without helpful folks such as yourselves.

Prostor

Prostor could be one of several creative retail spaces in New York or LA that combine cool clothing, music, books and art. Except it's not in LA. It's in Zagreb, Croatia and focuses on Croatian design talent.

Chic Office

We've heard on several occasions that the vintage clothing stores in Paris are in a different league than other cities and if Chic Office is any indication we've heard right. YSL, Dior, Galliano, Chanel--the Parisian shop collects French designer clothing like nobody's business.

The Archive

We missed seeing The Archive on our last visit to San Francisco but it's definitely on the list for next time, what with its selection of dark, brooding men's clothing and accessories from Japanese and European designers (many impossible to find elsewhere in SF if not the country).

If you know or for that matter own a great store that belongs in our guide, please don't hesitate to suggest it to us.
