It seems like every other day that we are introduced to another Scandinavian designer that's full of talent and energy. Usually they're Swedish, sometimes they're Danish, but Siv Støldal hails from Norway. Her Autumn 2007 collection is called Cover Up and that's exactly what Støldal did. After researching both her design studio's East London neighborhood and the Norwegian countryside for inspiration, Støldal covered both locales with pieces from the collection.
Not surprisingly, the collection itself is a study in playful contrast. Think a reversible bomber in slick bright nylon on one side and comfty plaid flannel on the other.
Available at Tres Bien.
