After seeing every possible permutation of stripes, dots and plaid (oh god the plaid) designers for Spring 2008 have turned to the humble flower print for a splash of color and creativity. But naturally, the designers we're drawn to have taken the print and added their own twist to it. Which is to say, this is not your grandmother's flower print.
Tsumori Chisato ($972.80)
Eley Kishimoto ($130)

For Spring 2008, Bblessing's T-shirt collection is inspired by Nathaniel Hawthrone's The Scarlet Letter
Pictures of April 77's Spring 2008 collection are now on their website. They're getting rather good at refining their rock-n-roll aesthetic.
We have a feeling House of Dagmar's Spring 2008 will look quite at home riding in LA convertibles and New York subways, LA boardwalks and New York sidewalks. And isn't that a feat in itself? Not too fussy for LA, stylish enough for New York. Expect to see more of the Swedish label here in The States in the seasons to come.
Want a sneak peek at Mociun's Spring 2008 collection? Sotto has the first pictures we've seen anywhere.
Before he releases shoes for The Gap in the US and gets press up the wazoo, we'd like to assert that we were early on Pierre Hardy. Like 3 years ago early (we first added his brand to our database in March of 2005). Now that that's out of the way, images from his Spring 2008 collection are now on his site. Just think, for the low low price of ten pairs of his shoes from The Gap, you can get the real deal.
We were dangerously close to writing a headline about Hope springing eternal. You're welcome. Dumb puns not withstanding, Hope is another one of those Scandinavian labels making the leap to the world stage that you'll want to keep an eye on. Wearable, but distinctive clothing for men and women. Well-made. Killer accessories (look at those shoes!). Their Spring 2008 collection has West African influences.
Ever since we met Poltock & Walsh when London shop Sefton was suggested for the guide, we've been intrigued. We can't wait to see pieces from their Spring 2008 collection in shops, but for now their online lookbook will have to do.
Our Legacy's Spring 2008 collection is named The Swing of Pendulum and is about a relaxed, but refined style. We tried out a pair of their perfectly simple jeans last season and practically live in them now, but were even more eager to see some new designs in their illustrated T-shirt line.
Icelandic designer Pepper & Pistol Spring 2008 collection is called Swarms. The Fall 2007 collection was Polaris and had a distinct penguin inspiration, so it seems the label has a quirky animal theme going for it. Gotta love the pink fly prints.
