Newcomer to Seven, London based and Central Saint Martins trained Mark Fast came out of the gate rather 'fast' with only his second collection, S/S '10. Aided in part by the fashionweek scandal (Fastgate) that arose from his opting to use plus-size models for this body-conscious collection, which caused his stylist to quit just days before the show, we realized he has not just precise skill, but courage and integrity for staying true to his vision. Fast approaches his knitwear speciality from a 'hosiery' perspective; that's what makes his work sexy, interesting, relevant, and unique.
