- A graduate of the Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo, Jun Takhashi founded Undercover in 1991.
- Initially beginning with heavily street/punk influenced clothing, Undercover grew to create more ambitious, avant-garde collections.
- Undercover collections now combine influences from Japan's avant-garde heritage with street/music references with distinctive fantastical elements.
- While designing a full complement of men's and women's clothing accessories, womenswear is Undercover's most ambitious, creative program. In 2002, Undercover debuted its Spring 2003 women's collection in Paris to much acclaim.
