Tail of the Yak
It's almost impossible to describe Tail of the Yak. So it's probably best to just describe what's in it, the doves for example. Yes, real, peace and love doves live in a cage in the middle of the store. The store, a Berkeley institution, is a page from a fairy tale, and while the doves aren't for sale, paper whimsies, French soaps and glassware, wrapping paper and other things you cannot live without are. If for nothing else, stop in to see what fairy tales look like and commune with the doves.
