American Rag
Seamlessly mixing new and vintage clothing to create a unique look may mainly be the work of hip celebrity stylists, but with stores like American Rag the task got just a little bit easier. The store's large space is filled to the brim with new and vintage clothing and accessories. The eerily well-organized vintage section has large selections of button down shirts, jackets, suit pants and dresses. Look to the new clothing section for hip jeans, well cut pants, premium jackets and funky dresses. Men and women are equally well taken care of here. The shoe section is no slouch either. Check it out for everything from retro sneakers to cute Italian heels, with brands big and small, hip and traditional. Prices range from average to a bit over priced, but every couple of months they have a storewide sale with some amazing deals. The LA store is a noticeably smaller than its city-by-the-bay counterpart.
