Aqua Surf Shop
The light wooden floors, the pleasant aqua walls, the well lit and well organized retail floor are three of the many reasons why Aqua is not your average surf shop. For the hardcore surfer who knows what they want and how they want it, there are dozens of boards, suits and related doodads from which to choose. For the casual or beginner surfer, or someone just looking to get some board shorts or a few cool T-shirts, the selection is easy to find and browse and the staff is friendly and not intimidating in the least.

I was looking for a bikini for a recent trip to Costa Rica, Canyon Beach had a lot of "bathing suits" but none that had any real personality. I checked out Aqua and they a beautiful selection of bikinis, boardshorts and cool clothing. I'm from Southern California and I missed the surf culture when I moved here. When you walk into the shop, you are put into a really relaxing space, surf films are up on the flatscreen and cute surf kids are helpful and nice!!! Such a break from some of the other boutiques. They also have a cool book selection, one of the owners is an artist and it definately comes through in the stores decor--hand carved tiki fixtures, bamboo floors and pretty shades of aqua throughout.
