Tired of music stores where the staff's knowledge does not run much deeper than Justin + Britney 4EVER? Try Aquarius Records. The feisty music store, specializing in indie rock, metal, punk and electronica, is like a music education in and of itself. Most albums on the racks come complete with a description / review / commentary on the state of music in this day and age, written by the staff. The store is by no means the largest record store you've ever seen, but they do cover their preferred genres rather well. Which is to say, don't go here if you're looking for the Backstreet Boys Christmas album, but do go here if you're looking for that old The Decemberists EP.
