Area ID is the vintage furniture store to visit if you think "mid-century modern" furniture is code for "Danish teak" or "designed by Ray and Charles Eames." The shop takes a delightfully broader view of the wonderful furniture that was produced in the mid-twentieth century. While a selection of Danish teak tables, plastic molded chairs and chrome lamps are always kept on hand, so are 1960s Italian glass chandeliers, reproduction faux leather club chairs and sofas, 1950s Lane walnut side tables and credenzas and new fur rugs and throws.
