Butter
On our visit, Butter was doing its very best to stay low key. The storefront is small and the only adornments were two opaque screens blocking a view of the clothes inside. It wasn't working. The store was packed regardless, with women constantly shifting in and out, and we can't really say we blame them. The shop stocks an amazing selection of smaller high-end European and American brands. The long rack of clothing holds the type of hip, chic separates and dresses that are the bread and butter of a New York wardrobe. Floating shelves hold matching shoes, bags and sunglasses.
