Creatures of Comfort
Creatures of Comfort is actually rather restless--anxious to find who's next in fashion and scouring near and far to make it happen. Looking far they introduce up and coming labels from Japan, the UK and France. Looking near they are among the most ardent supporters of emerging LA talent. The goods--an amazing variety of clothing, shoes and accessories in what isn't the largest of spaces--are challenging without being overwhelming. Dresses, coming in brush stroke, modified paisley or other arty prints, often in boisterous bubble or tent silhouettes, sometimes with pockets and other adornments, are a definite strong point.

This store has the most unique merchandise I have seen in Los Angeles so far. It seems that the buyers really took their time to hand pick everything in there. I like the personal treatment you get in there as well. Though things may be a bit pricey, they are pieces that seem to last a long time.
