FinnStyle is probably the largest store in the U.S. featuring modern design from Finland. The company features products from well-established Finnish brands (iittala, Arabia, Aarikka, Kalevala Koru and Marimekko) as well as products--rugs, table linens, jewelry, purses--from young up-and-coming designers. Fans of Alvar Aalto furniture and lighting should stop at FinnStyle. They have many Aalto pieces in their showroom and are able to order all Aalto items for their customers. The Aalto furniture is still made in Finland by Artek, the company founded by Aalto himself. The company is independently owned.
