Grey One

This store was suggested by a reader (we'll add our own description soon):

Live in Boston and still think Bodega has THE BEST retail experience I've ever seen (hidden door in the wall? Damn!). BUT... was visiting the West Coast a month back and hit Grey One for the first time. They're REALLY doing it right. Store design is modern and clean, selection is great but the Pasadena vibe--friendly, helpful and eager to meet others into the street scene--was awesome. Only store I've been in that carried Poets & Thieves. Picked up a killer Bukowski game shirt -- has a poem of his screened on the inside. Tight. Their blog is great (tons of product updates) and while they don't have an e-tail site, they will do mail order to anywhere on anything (unlike most NY stores--callin' you out, RECON).
