Gurej is in a league of its own. First, they design their own boots--from the most elegant riding boots to mod cowboy boots--and cashmere. Second, they brought to Houston a point of view in terms of style that is only rivaled by boutiques in Paris and London. Their overall aesthetic is more European than New York, but the real style of the boutique (and the owners) stems from their incredible vantage point on fashion (the owners seem to divide their time between the Far East, European capitals and Texas). They carry hard to find labels like Beckerman, Acne Jeans, Superfine Jeans, Anglomania, Gharani Strok, Tsumori Chisato, Sari Gueron, Les Prairies de Paris, Le Mont St. Michel, and much more. A breathtaking store and a stunning website!
