Illumintations is a modern lighting store that knows its audience. Among the more reserved and conservative atmosphere of the Capitol, the store offers clean, classic modern lighting, combining steel, glass, plastic and wire in interesting ways. Track lighting is made of thin wire and delicate halogen bulbs, sleek lamps are made of steel with a curvy glass shade. What you won't find are the particularly conceptual or audacious fixtures.
