Kicks
You don't want the same boring sneakers you can find in any mall. But you're not exactly willing to stand in line for 6 hours for one of 50 artist/sneaker manufacturer collaboration shoes that the more pedigreed sneaker stores specialize in. If this describes your predicament, then Kicks is for you. The store has a large selection of interesting shoes from Adidas, Reebok and some lesser known European brands. The selection is such that most of the shoes, while not ultra-exclusive limited editions, are not the usual styles and colors you'll find at the mall. The Silverlake location is a massive, brick-walled space, with a larger selection and than its Larchmont cousin.
