Kita Ceramics & Glassware

Kita Ceramics & Glassware is dedicated to two ancient art forms: glass making and pottery making. They carry an extensive and amazing assortment of Murano glass. In 1292, when government officials banned glass-making in Venice, all the glass makers moved to Murano. The secrets of their extraordinary techniques have been maintained throughout history and Kita Ceramics & Glassware brings them to San Diego, in every form from ornaments to lamps. Next to the colorful Murano, the store sells Asian pottery with its own history of craftsmanship. Fine pottery has been made in Asia for over a thousand years. The store offers a small and selective assortment of Japanese pottery which, according to their website, "should inspire a sense of peacefulness when held." No matter what your taste, you will have a difficult time resisting the gorgeous Murano chandeliers. You'll find yourself wishing you had a house to do their chandeliers justice.
