Laguna

Try to imagine a time when every plate didn't have "Made in China" stamped on the back--difficult, we know. Upto the 1970s, America had a thriving ceramics industry with classic, colorful tableware being made by producers from California to Ohio. Laguna is a celebration of that bygone era. Stacked on tables and shelves, in cases and corners are bright, pristine examples of vintage American tableware and art pottery. The selection is exhaustive--every major manufacturer is covered, with lots of patterns for each from the prototypical to the obscure. The pieces have great character and are sturdy enough to use regularly despite their advanced age. Beside the vintage ceramics, the store also carries some new sets from the few remaining Amerians manufacturers as well as vintage tiles and garden pottery.
