Lawson-Fenning
If ever a furniture shop encapsulates the eclectic, often contradictory aspects of the Los Angeles area, Lawson-Fenning is it. Consider that the city is ground zero for Hollywood Regency, was the longtime home and workplace of Ray and Charles Eames, and hosts a bright crop of modernist architects and designers and it makes the Lawson-Fenning aesthetic crystal clear. The shop's line of furniture and accessories borrows the glam of Hollywood Regency, the playful forms and materials of mid-century modern and the visual efficiency of stark modernism. Furthermore, the shop makes its various inspirations even more clear by stocking an extremely well-curated selection of vintage furniture and accessories from the '40s, '50s and '60s.

Great mix of vintage and new pieces. Their line of custom pieces is really amazing. I have bought some of my favorite pieces over the years from there. Their Silverlake store is supposed to have a more "gothic modern" vibe. I haven't seen it yet, but my friends bought some amazing pieces there.
