Mod Lang

There are few true barometers of "coolness" out there. We firmly believe one of them sits behind the window of Mod Lang. Just look at their weekly chart of albums and see how many of them you recognize. 0-25%? You've got some work to do. 25-75%? It's cool to be you. 75-100%? Hail to the chief. Mod Lang does not have the vast selection that record superstores have, but that's because of some careful filtering. Boy bands, poseur rock bands, and Celine Dion are not invited. The store is a mostly indie rock and electronic outfit, carrying everything from psychedelic '60s music, to '80s electronica, to the best of the latest rock bands. They have a great selection of British imports and smaller bands that you might not have heard of but probably should have. The staff is particularly helpful, even if you go in and just tell them you're looking for something awesome that you haven't heard before.
