Opening Ceremony
When we think clothing boutique and New York a store like Opening Ceremony is what we have in mind. The store is hip and worldy, avant-garde but approachable, artful and industrial. The large, long space, complete with a loft area contains a collection of hip, chic clothing the likes of which you're not going to see very often. The store focuses on introducing the best designers from other countries to the US, which means you'll run into clothes from Brazil or the UK or Japan or Germany (the store focuses on one country each year) that you probably would not have known about otherwise. This is mixed with up and coming New York designers and their own line of hip basics.
