Project No. 8
In the perpetual tug-of-war match between art and commerce in fashion, score one for art. The humbly named Project No. 8 is, you guessed it, duo Brian Janusiak and Elizabeth Beer's 8th collaborative project. But more than that it's a refreshing space where craftsmanship and ideas are celebrated more than gross margins and sell-throughs. An intriguing selection of men's and women's clothing and accessories hang next to tables arranged with art books, fine writing and drawing utensils and other bits of superior design.
