Scentiments

The sentiment seems to be that if you spend on flowers the recipient will not notice the cellophane, foam or cheap glass (using the world glass liberally) vase that holds the flowers. We knew the state of the plant world was improving when we walked into Scentiments. For one thing, the focal point of the store is the vases--the front of the store seems like a design store focusing on jars and vases. Only after walking in and picking out the vase or jar of your choice do you realize that you can buy equally beautiful flowers to fill it. The flowers, like everything else in the store, are simple and elegant. So, in the future, please don't humiliate the poor flower--since you brutally murdered it, shouldn't you at least find it a decent casket.
