Enter Silho Furniture, a modern furniture store that embraces organic forms and materials. The store's pieces marry the simplicity and elegance of modern furniture with the warmth and comfort of natural shapes and materials. Their idea of a dining table may be a huge slab of fallen redwood on simple legs. The ubiquitous modern platform bed would be made at Silho using rich walnut. Even the art, pottery and accessories at the store has a distinctively natural, earthy feel. Never in this world did we think we would see a whole room of modern furniture without a hint of steel, acrylic or Lucite.
