When an artist opens a clothing store, expect to see dresses that look like canvases. Bringing together bevy of international, independent designers, clothing at Travessia is splashed, sprayed and screened with patterns and prints. What isn't a painting is a sculpture--even solid pieces are sewn and folded and tucked into sculptural, generally beautiful shapes. Accessories are no less artful--look for bright color-speckled scarves and a vast collection ornate, unusual jewelry.
