Twentieth

Twentieth rents its furniture for movie and TV sets with regularity and there are no shortage of pieces that are in the compact car price range. But that shouldn't stop you from stopping by anyway. The huge store is a space worth visiting for anyone who enjoys modernism in any of its forms. One side of the split showroom is all vintage 20th century furniture, the other side collects a variety of new furniture from local designers--these are the types of pieces we'd expect to become 21st century classics. You'll need plenty of time to wind your way through the mish-mosh of furniture, lighting, tableware and accessories, but you're bound to find something that will go on the must have list. And if your income hasn't yet caught up to your grand modern vision, we suggest you pick up something small, a lamp or a vase and immediately set up a dining room table fund.
