Woven History/Silk Road

The Silk Road was an ancient trade route that linked Europe to much of China. Silk Road, the store, captures some of the magic of the fabled route by finding and collecting items from the many countries that the Silk Road traveled through. Paper lanterns from Tibet, cabinets from China, saddle bags, trays, the variety of items you are bound to find at the store varies from season to season, as many are hand selected by proprietor Mehmet Yalcin in his constant travels through the region. If it's rugs you are looking for, than look no further than Woven History, a connected space that focuses on hand-spun, vegetable-dyed rugs from the region.
