Even the coolest home design objects start to look tiresome after we see them in store after store after store. Zelen, an unassuming shop tucked amongst massive furniture showrooms, seems on an indefatigable quest to find truly unique home accessories and tableware. A mix of in-house designed objects, work from other designers and vintage pieces line the shelves. In-house designs run the gamut from simple cashmere pillows to funky martini picks. Work from other designers eschews the larger design companies and seeks out individual designers creating everything from agate bowls to iron dice to porcelain vases. Vintage items can be anything from sturdy glassware to random curiosities.
