Who am I?
I am anja, ( people call me anna) a beautician who literally were born with cosmetics lol as my mother was a beauty consultant and was selling makeup and skincare products every afternoon via those friend parties. In fact, these cosmetics were my first baby “toys”…
Gosh, I ruined so many lipsticks on the wall trying to draw funny stuff…. You can imagine that my parents were not really happy about it….
So, growing up, it was obvious I would work in the cosmetic industry. And without a doubt, I can say, working with and testing cosmetics is by far the best job in the world for a girl like me….
I am also proud to work with 2 beautiful souls : emily and lola. They are as crazy as me when it comes to beauty products. They will help me test and review every product on this blog 🙂
Why the name?
I wanted a quirky and funny name for this beauty blog. It took me a while to find it. But after a few brainstorming sessions, I ended up with a combination of 2 words.
- Jar which is related to those lovely and cute beauty jars.
- gol for “giggle out loud”: this is my favorite text message word. (instead of LOL)
My friends know I like to laugh and have fun…. so, I thought: why not combine my beauty addiction and infuse it with some fun ? The name jargol was born 🙂
What is jargol mission ?
I want to help people find the right product for their skin without being influenced and falling for those marketing tricks brands tend to use unethically.
What will you find there?
You will find beauty articles and independent cosmetic reviews that will help you find among the plethora of cosmetics what truly suits you, and help you somehow shine and live your life to the fullest.
